Computers had been developed and new technologies were introduced and the games are being simulated to a computer. Inspired by the development of technology, the group developed a computerized board game, which is ?Game of the Generals?. Computerized Game of the Generals is based on the Game of the Generals board game, which was somewhat similar to chess. One major difference with chess is that in the Game of the Generals the pieces are deployed freely with out any standard formation and a slight difference in the movements, where in the Game of Generals, the movements of all pieces are the same not like with chess. This project is developed using and Object Oriented Programming approach in JAVA Language. The game is playable by a single player (Human to Computer) where the opponent Is the computer against human. The pieces are deployed randomly with its corresponding strategy on the computer side and in the human; the player is free to deploy his/her pieces without regards with its rank and with his/her own strategy. Unlike with chess the player is not able to know the rank of the opponent he/she is against with and when challenge is called nobody knows, both the human and computer who their against to. The game ends when flag of an opponent is capture or when the flag reaches to the other side. And it displays who wins the game. In this game, Game of the Generals is a highly psychological game. The heart of the game is to control your opponents mind. This game requires skills and it sharpens one?s memory and deductive thinking. | ||
