Abstract: This study aims to examine the relationship between academic burnout and quality of sleep to the academic motivation of the selected architecture students in Cebu Institute of Technology - University. The sample consisted of 164 undergraduate architecture students who answered the survey. This study utilized a descriptive correlational survey research design using open-source questionnaire such as MBISS, Sleep Quality Scale and Academic Motivation Scale. Result indicated that there was no significant correlation between academic burnout and academic motivation. Although, among the three subscales in academic burnout, there is a weak significant positive correlation between academic efficacy and academic motivation. Indicating that academic efficacy and academic motivation are influenced by different factors. In addition, there is also no significant correlation between sleep quality and academic motivation. The findings of this thesis possess important implications not only for architecture students in Cebu Institute of Technology - University, but also as whole. By highlighting this concern, awareness in regard to their academic burnout, sleep quality, and overall school performance is given the utmost importance.
