It has become one of the most used social media platform. Due to the fact that it is relatively new application studies that tackle its relationship to its users' perceived level of body satisfaction are minimal. Thus, the purpose of this study was to find out the relationship of TikTok users on level of perceived body satisfaction. This is a quantitative study utilizing a descriptive correlational survey design. The researchers collected data from 374 students (n = 374) from various colleges of Cebu Institute of Technology - University within the range of 18-24 years old. To measure body satisfaction, the researchers utilized the Multidimensional Body Self-Relations Questionnaire - Appearance Scales (MBSRQ-AS). The researchers utilized Spearman's Rho as the statistical treatment in analyzing the gathered data. The results showed that TikTok users and their perceived level of body satisfaction have no significant relationship. It does, however, reveal that TikTok users have positive but weak significant relationship on appearance orientation. Implying that TikTok being a highly visual social media platform, can further enhance the grooming behavior and effort of an individual towards their physical appearance. Furthermore, the findings of this study helped in creating a program that will educate TikTok users on the effects of the application.
