CCS interactive: a dynamic user-interactive webzine with online administration

It is a dynamically generated, user-interactive webzine with administrative functions that can be done online. A webzine is the digital equivalent of a magazine; it is an online interactive service that delivers information and transactional features through a personal computer. The articles or columns of the webzine are from member submissions which are moderated by one or more administrator. The features of this web application may be divided in terms of user features and administrative features. To avail of certain site privileges, a user must first register his details and be activated by the administrator. An active user?s account may be used to log-on to the web application and avail of membership features like article submission and commenting. Article submission can be done in two ways: by directly typing the article content into forms or by uploading a text file following a pre-defined format. The option of uploading a maximum of two image files with captions are available to both manners of submissions. Members can also leave their comments to posted articles. The administrator has the responsibility of managing users, articles, comments, submissions, sidebars, topics, editorial staff, and the banner. The administrator can: activate, change to admin/member mode, and delete any user; delete posted articles or comments; view, edit, publish, or delete article submissions; update sidebar blocks or topics; edit editorial staff; and update banner information.
