Publisher: Cebu City ; CIT-U ; 2013DDC classification: T M7924 2013 Summary: This paper presented a combination of two projects that aims to help the security surveillance of establishments. If fuses the separate processes of human detection and age detection. Fixed number of skin points through detection was used in order to estimate real time image if it contains human skin or not. If it passes the fixed number of skin points, face detection is used to identify if it is human. After the region of interest is captured, it is used for extracting the forehead part which is used for edge detection for the wrinkle analysis. The number of pixels of the edges is used to estimate the age range of the given human image. The age range is by ten years. The bigger the number of pixels of the edges detected =, the higher the age range of the image. The background light during face detection matters during the wrinkle analysis. Too much brightness would affect the detection of edges of the wrinkles which may cause incorrect estimationof age range.
