Summary, etc The paper presented information on the social relationships of the diocesan ex-seminarians. The problem was to find the reason why ex-seminarians quit and what are the emerging effects on the social relationship specifically to the family, relatives, friends, and male and female acquaintances. The research methodology used was the thematic analysis method of case study; first a selective coding was done in looking into the themes of these interviews. For easier classification, data from the interviews were first coded manually, the first few data served as the bases for the identification of central themes which were labeled with codes, taking into account what is said, and how it said for classification purposes. The tags were then applied to the now reduced transcripts. In developing the categories, the tags and date that emerged whenever a tag was searched were cross-checked regularly to see whether respective tag and date matched. Categories were married in order to create broad themes that were applicable and relevant. Then the relationships between the themes that emerged were established. Specific answers to the interview questions were, moreover, looked into. The interviewee?s manner of speaking, their tone, their individual disposition and nuances towards the questions and the issues presented before them were also taken into account.<br/>The emerging results and findings were; that the relationships between the families when the ex-seminarian leaves the seminary have changed and the parents specifically have been affected resulting to changed behavior into frustrations, minimized talking and long periods of acceptance. The relationship between the relatives and friends were close providing the ongoing support and understanding to the participants. The acquaintances of the male project a good and close relationship; on the other hand, the female acquaintances create self and group issues on ex-seminarians but it did not affect the relationships.
