Crossword Puzzles are puzzles that take the form of a square grid with white and black squares. It is a popular puzzle mostly found in newspapers. The goal is to fill the white squares with letters, forming words or phrases, by solving clues, which lead to the answers. The shaded are used to separate the words or phrases. The white cells into which answers are written are commonly called items.<br/>Making crossword puzzles by hand is quite a tedious task because we still have to consider many constraints. This is why this system exists. The system includes backtracking and constraint satisfaction that helps in generating the puzzle. An has been formulated after a few researches for the constraints and backtracking in crossword puzzle generation.<br/>This system lets the users choose their desired sizes for the puzzle and play crossword puzzles in their PC?s after the system has generated a puzzle with its clues and words. |
