Summary, etc |
This project is a coffee heater that enables the users to input their desired temperature. The idea of this project came from Engr. Chris Jordan Aliac who happens to be our adviser and was then realized by our group.

This coffee heater is different from other typical heaters because the user can input a temperature using a keypad attached to it. Since the output signal from the heat sensor happens to be analog, an ADC (analog digital converter) must be used and that is a PIC16F876 IC. An LM35 heat sensor was used to detect the temperature inside the heater. To be able to maintain the temperature inside the heater, a loop in the program was used.

The result of this project was very much satisfactory because all of the functionalities were met. After integrating all the parts of this project only minimal errors were committed.

Proper project scheduling and organizing were the keys that this project was passed before the deadline and only minor errors were made. Starting early can help a lot because it can eliminate delays. Good circuit design can also contribute to the success of the project. |
