This research contains the study and plans of the proposed prefabricated one-storey duplex house for disaster- stricken areas in the Philippines intended for the victims affected by the certain disastrous event.<br/><br/>The researchers consulted the help of people with through knowledge of the study, especially those who are experienced and well-rounded on both the structural field and project estimation. Books, manuals, articles, online resources and other theses which are relevant to the completion of this study were utilized.<br/><br/>The data acquired by the researchers ae made by the performing cost, duration, and manpower estimations based on the house design and plans that the researchers themselves have designed with the help of their adviser.<br/><br/>The design prefabricated house which can be built within a week and 10-15 workers has been recommended by the researchers as a response to any situation that needs a temporary shelter for the affected victims of calamities.<br/><br/>Based on the bill of the materials the total cost of construction for one unit ranges from P 94,000 to P 100,000 with an area of 36 square meter or P 2,611.00 per square meters. |
