CCSMIS is a Geographical Information System (GIS) that is useful for tourists by providing an efficient way of acquiring information about the city. The system suggests the possible route numbers of Public Utility Jeepneys (PUJ) that a tourist may ride on in going to a specific place. Using a private vehicle, the tourist may take the shortest path that the system recommends.<br/><br/>CCSMIS provides list of categorized establishments such as hotels, restaurants, churches, and others. If the tourist chooses one of the categories, the system will show all possible establishments under this classification. The system also shows previews of establishments and places by displaying series of images.<br/><br/>With the aid of CCSMIS, the user will not find a hard time of knowing the important details of establishments such as history, contact number and the functions. The system promises very useful information to the others.<br/><br/>The system includes user account feature which allows creation of user accounts. Upon the registration, user information such as name, email address, and country are required to be inputted in the field provided. Users must also enter preffered username and password which will be used for logging in and for security purposes.<br/><br/>Registered users are allowed to bookmark places for easy access of the place in the future use. Comments and suggestions may also be posted by users which will be useful in maintaining and improving the system. Users are expected to receive notifications via electronic mail when there will bw any changes or additional features made in the system. |
