Summary, etc Julis Rey N. Minguillan, Glenda A. Agnes, Gemmabelle Lim; College of Computer Studies, Cebu Institute of Technology, Cebu City; February 28, 2005; Tong-its PC Version 1.0

Instructor: Elmer A. Maravillas, MSCS

Tong-its PC Version 1.0 is the computerized version of the card game, "Tong-its". To appreciate the game, it has to be played by three players. So, we set the game to three players which two opponents are implemented with artificial intelligence and the other one is the human player. The game will be started by the one who is randomly selected by the referee who should shuffle and distribute the 52 cards-deck. The player who would have one excess card which his total number of firs card are 13, he would be the one to initiate the game by throwing any desired card of choice. Then whoever will be the next one to throw, let say the computer opponent, the opponent is set to a fixed decisive sequential movement that its move would be first to pick from the remaining card deck or to eat the previously thrown card of an opponent then it would exhaustively search for the best possible combination and throw a decided probability based card. The first one whose excess cards run out will be the winner. Aside from that, if it happens that the remaining deck runs out then that player who has the least value of the sum of excess cards will be the winner.
