Every language has variation, insofar as it is part of a natural, historical, and cultural process of any language. Variation in all levels of grammar and vocabulary is part of the acquisition and learning of any language. Owing to that, when it comes to learning an additional language, it is important that teachers consider language variation in their lessons to prepare students to communicate with speakers from different countries.
