Library Automate is a web-based system built to address the problems encountered in TMC library and the needs of the library personnel. Library Automate shares functionality with the existing library systems like borrower’s information management, books information management, books issuance, library visitors monitoring, and reports generation.
Aside from its common functionality, Library Automate provides analytics base from data collected and generates data by representing it in graphical format for a better understanding and interpretation. The analytics feature could provide assistance to the library personnel for decision-making process in the future.
Radio frequency identification was also used in this system to monitor daily visitors of the library. Tapping the radio frequency identification card to the reader makes the monitoring process easy and convenient since it automatically records the date and time of visit.
